Intermittent F(e)asting is designed to facilitate a new, healthy, and effective diet and weight loss alternative.  It is, primarily, a meal management system. It is based on the body’s use of food; the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats; the role of insulin in metabolism; the negative impact of the carbohydrate/insulin relationship; and how to counter the malfunctioning system.

Topics for discussion examine insulin resistance, food traps, fats and oils, special medical conditions (especially diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol), autophagy, and the history of our current, traditional (and counterproductive) dietary recommendations.
