follow-up care

Our feet keep us mobile and carry our weight over the course of our lives and, yet, we neglect caring for them….until we discover a problem or we experience pain, or both.

Why is Foot Care Important?

Our feet keep us mobile and carry our weight over the course of our lives and, yet, we neglect caring for them….until we discover a problem or we experience pain, or both.  Then as we age, it becomes more difficult to reach them and actually see them to practice good foot and nail care. For the younger and older adult alike, proper foot care prevents pain, fungal skin and nail infections, and callouses and sores that can lead to more serious conditions.

This is where Liz comes in.  Foot care nurses play a vital role in assessing and monitoring potential problems that could lead to complications. Liz believes that foot and nail care does not need to be painful. She delivers competent, professional, pain free, gentle treatment and believes that your needs are of vital importance. She welcomes the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver high quality care to you or your loved one.

Follow-up Care

Performed 5-8 weeks after your initial visit. Liz will continue where she left off and perform an assessment of your feet and continue with appropriate trimming and shaping of nails, corn and callous care.  Again, she will end with a relaxing foot and leg massage.
